AS3 Performance Weekly Round Up #10
FIM Hard Enduro World Championship - Red Bull Outliers
Walker races in Canada after Tennessee Knockout
Our supported rider Jonny Walker made the trip to Canada, a week after the TKO Extreme Enduro Event to compete in the Red Bull Outliers. This marked the fourth round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. After strong 4th placed finishes at ErzbergRodeo as well as TKO, expectations were high for the Beta man to be up there at the finish.
Red Bull Outliers is a 2 day event in two very different locations, 150km apart! On Saturday 26th August, riders competed in a Prologue event, a closed obstacle style knockout race right in the centre of Calgary. Each rider's finishing positions determined their gate pick for the next day. Walker, competing on his Beta 300 RR finished 8th, giving him 8th gate pick to start Day 2.
The top 3 finishers in the prologue were:
- Manuel Lettenbichler - Red Bull KTM Factory Racing
- Billy Bolt - Husqvarna Factory Racing
- Trystan Hart - FMF KTM Factory Racing
On Sunday 27th August (Day 2), riders competed in the Alberta Badlands for 2.5 hours round a 10 mile (multi-lap) course which incorporated several outliers (peaks) marking the various checkpoints. The unique course was a mix between Hard Enduro terrain and high speed desert sections, culminating in a finish atop the highest plateau in the area.
In the main event, Lettenbichler on his KTM 300 EXC made it 4 wins in 4 rounds, closely followed by Bolt on his Husqvarna TE 300i. The 2 riders pulled a big gap on the field as there was carnage in the dust behind them with several riders crashing and making mistakes off the start. KTM's Hart came in in 3rd, just a few seconds ahead of Sherco Racing Factory's Mario Roman on his SE 300 R. Our man Jonny Walker had a bad day by his standards managing 9th overall. He stated: "tough day, nothing went to plan but that's racing".

Top 5 overall in the main event were:
- Manuel Lettenbichler - Red Bull KTM Factory Racing
- Billy Bolt - Husqvarna Factory Racing
- Trystan Hart - FMF KTM Factory Racing
- Mario Roman - Sherco Racing Factory
- Wade Young - Sherco Racing Factory
We would have liked to have seen Jonny close to or on the podium but that's racing sometimes and we wish him the best of luck with his next event - the Arenacross Festival in Bolesworth, UK.

AS3 Bike Of The Week
This week, we feature a 2022 Husqvarna TC 125 from the same customer that sent in the Kawasaki KX 450 SR that we featured in last week's AS3 weekly round up. There has been a lot of work gone in to this bike and this is one of the finest examples of a modern day 125 2 stroke that we have seen, featuring a long list of both performance and visual upgrades.
Right side of the bike showing the Öhlins suspension, Pro-Circuit Exhaust and AS3 Performance clutch cover.
This bike has been treated to an insane amount of performance upgrades including Öhlins suspension, a Pro-Circuit exhaust system and and CMT Compsiti carbon fuel tank, frame guards and engine mounts, as well as a wide range of AS3 Performance hard parts and silicone hoses. Below we will highlight the AS3 Performance parts used on the bike.
Detailed shot of the right side of the bike showing our clutch cover, titanium foot pegs and holeshot device.
Here you can see our AS3 Performance billet aluminium clutch cover installed on the Husqvarna TC 125. Our clutch covers are a much stronger and more durable alternative to the OEM clutch cover. You can read in more detail about the features and benefits of installing an AS3 Performance clutch cover here. Just below the clutch cover you can also see the bike is fitted with a set of our titanium foot pegs. These foot pegs are the strongest and lightest foot pegs that we sell and they offer superior grip over the stock OEM foot pegs. At the front of the bike and complimenting the distinctive gold Öhlins forks is our AS3 Performance holeshot device. Designed for improving traction out of the start gate, this is an essential part for any serious motocross racer.
Blue anodised AS3 Performance power valve cover and silicone hoses on the left side of the engine.
The left side of the engine is fitted with our blue anodised power valve cover that looks great alongside the Bud Racing cylinder head. In this shot you can also see our blue silicone radiator hoses that have been installed with our stainless steel hose clips. The hoses are slightly thicker and much stronger than the OEM hoses and the clips are specifically designed for silicone hoses with smooth inners and rounded edges so they don't damage the hose.
The rear wheel of the TC 125 with AS3 Performance Factory Series rear sprocket, Moto-Master Flame rear brake disc and more CMT Compositi carbon
The rear sprocket has been upgraded from the OEM sprocket to one of our Factory Series rear sprockets. These are constructed from a light-weight aluminium centre to keep weight to a minimum and a heavy duty steel outer ring. Our Factory Series rear sprockets are incredibly hard wearing and will outlast aluminium sprockets by up to 3 times. They are available for the Husqvarna's in black or blue with both options looking great on the bike when installed.

The final photo in this feature shows our AS3 Performance aluminium fuel cap which compliments the CMT Compositi carbon fuel tank nicely. The fuel cap is CNC machined from a solid block of aluminium and comes complete with the one-way breather vent. The bike is also fitted with one of our high pressure radiator caps. These caps are available in a choice of 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 bar options.
