British Extreme Enduro Championship: Round 5 - Hawkshead

AS3 Performance sponsored rider Jonathan Richardson had an unfortunate afternoon at round 5 of the British Extreme Enduro at Hawkshead, Cumbria this weekend. Jono had a great start on his Beta 300 RR leading both KTM supported Jonny Walker and Husqvarna factory rider and series leader Billy Bolt after 2 laps of the extreme enduro course but on the 3rd lap he took a bad line through one of the wet sections leaving the bike bogged down over the rear wheel forcing him to retire and taking 4 men to recover the bike! This is all part and parcel of extreme enduro riding and could have happened to any one of the front 3 riders and its's all good experience for Jonathan.

Next week he's travelling to Austria to compete in the Erzberg Rodeo which is the 2nd round of the WESS (World Enduro Super Series) which features the worlds best enduro and off road riders.
