AS3 Performance Weekly Round Up #33
AS3 Performance Bike Of The Week
2024 Husqvarna FC 350 with a host of upgrades
Veteran MX racer, Mark Gerloff (@papagerloff) has completed yet another Bike Build over in the states. Adding to his two previous builds (a 2023 Kawasaki KX 450 SR and a 2024 Husqvarna TC 125), Mark has recently upgraded a 2024 FC 350, in a similar vein to his TC 125 - he has installed a range of AS3 Performance parts in order to upgrade the look and performance of his four-stroke. Click here for a sneak peek video of the upgraded 350. We have detailed the AS3 Performance parts used in the build, below:
Nice shot of the left side of the FC 350. Like his previous TC 125 build, Mark has used a lot of our Blue anodised parts, as well as WP suspension and Guts seat cover.
Mark replaced the OEM ignition plug with one of our blue anodised versions, creating a stand-out visual upgrade on the build. We also have them in black for Husqvarna motorcycles and they are a great way to customize the engine of your bike.
Our black anodised, cold forged gear lever has replaced the OEM gear lever and with it, has made it less susceptible to snapping upon any impact. The cold forging process makes the lever much less brittle than the cast OEM levers. Tip colour is the rider's choice and Mark has gone for blue to compliment all the other blue AS3 hard parts fitted.

For that factory touch, Mark has upgraded the OEM oil pump cover to our high strength 6061-T6 aluminium one. This also incorporates a guard as part of the design, to protect vital parts of the engine - an important upgrade for all racers.
As on his TC 125 build, Mark has fitted the same Factory Series foot pegs, anodised in Blue. They are wider and lighter than the OEM foot pegs and are very popular with our MX riders. The foot pegs come in a variety of colours and feature a 60mm wide platform with a stainless steel 60 teeth plate, giving a much larger surface area and better grip than the OEM foot pegs. Additionally, they feature a rubber pad under the teeth plate, to eliminate vibration.
On the right side of the bike, Mark has replaced the OEM rear brake pedal with our cold forged version, again choosing a blue tip. These were purchased as a combo with the gear lever, but both can be ordered separately and tip colours can be interchanged if wanted. Another stand-out upgrade that Mark has fitted is the blue oil filler plug, which can be seen in the photo below.

Moving onto the wheels, blue anodised wheel spacers have been installed on the front and rear wheels, providing that factory look and providing a big visual upgrade. On the rear wheel, the OEM rear sprocket has been replaced with one of our blue aluminium rear sprockets. Designed for minimum weight but maximum strength, they are up to 50% lighter than the OEM steel rear sprocket! We also stock them in black for Husqvarna motorcycles.

Also on the front and rear wheels, Mark has upgraded the OEM brake discs to our hardened steel, high performance versions. We have recently added brake discs to our product range and they are available for all bike brands.

Moving upwards to the rider's view of the FC 350 and handlebar controls, Mark has replaced the plastic OEM fuel cap with our blue, CNC machined aluminium version. This comes complete with one-way breather vent and is a big visual upgrade to give that factory look.

As you can see in the photo above, Mark has upgraded the handlebar controls with our blue anodised front brake and clutch reservoir covers. We stock and sell a lot of these in a variety of colours and for all brands of bike, as compared to the OEM covers, they provide such a big visual upgrade.
The final photos below shows our forged black front brake and clutch levers that Mark has fitted as direct replacements for the OEM levers. With a red adjuster, these have finished off the handlebar controls nicely and are really popular with not only our motocross riders, but our enduro riders too!

New Motocross and Enduro Brake Disc Protection Parts
DTC Rear Brake Disc Guards for KTM, Honda, Husqvarna, Sherco and more
We have just recently introduced a brand new product to our ever growing product range. We now supply an alternative rear brake disc guard to the aluminium rear brake disc guards that we have been supplying for years. Our new disc guards are manufactured from DTC plastic. This is the same material that plastic skid plates are manufactured from and it offers excellent protection and absorbs impacts better than the aluminium rear disc guards.
The new DTC rear brake disc guards are 15mm thick and substantially stronger than the OEM rear brake disc guards. They come with all parts required for installation and will mount to the bike using the bolts and brackets provided or the OEM bolts (depending on model). The DTC rear brake disc guards are available for KTM, Honda, Gas Gas, Sherco, Yamaha and Husqvarna motocross and enduro bikes and for most models you will have a choice of colours.
