For 2022, we are pleased to be sponsoring the new Fast Eddy Racing Team, based in the UK and competing in the FIM World Enduro GP Championship, as well as the British Enduro Championship. The team is owned and led by the legendary and 4 time World Enduro Champion Paul "Fast Eddy" Edmonson, with the renowned Damo Butler being the team mechanic. The 3 riders in the team are Jamie McCanney, Joe Wootton and Tom Sagar, the latter is the current reigning 2021 British Enduro Champion.

FIM Enduro World Championship (Enduro GP) 2022

The Enduro GP Championship currently features 3 classes (E1, E2 and E3) as well as Junior (EJ) and Female (Enduro Women) categories. Enduro 1 (E1) is for two stroke and four stroke bikes upto 250cc. Enduro 2 (E2) is for two stroke over 250cc bikes upto 4 stroke over 450cc bikes and Enduro 3 (E3) is for two stroke over 250cc bikes and 4 stroke over 450cc bikes. The Enduro GP class itself is scored from the rankings based on overall standings from E1, E2 and E3.

Jamie McCanney will contest the E1 class on a Husqvarna FE 250 and Joe Wootton will contest the E3 class on a Husqvarna FE 501, both riders contesting the Enduro GP overall class.

The Enduro GP Championship will be a 7 round series, the first round taking place in Spain in May. The other rounds will take place in Portugal, Italy, Slovakia, Hungary and the final round of the season is planned for October in Germany. All rounds include an Enduro test, a Motocross test and an Extreme test.

British Enduro Championship 2022

Current British Enduro Champion Tom Sagar, as well as Jamie and Joe, will compete in all the ACU British Extreme Championship rounds in their respective bike classes, as well as in the ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship.

The ACU British Extreme Championship will feature 8 competing classes. 1.) Championship; 2.) Expert; 3.) Clubman; 4.) Over 40 (over 40 years on the 1st January of the current year); 5.) Over 50; 6.) Women; 7.) Under 23; 8.) Electric (open class, subject to organisers discretion).

There will be 4 capacity groups in the Championship, Expert and Clubman classes E1/2 for two stroke up to 125cc, E1/4 for four stroke up to 250cc, E2 for 125cc–250cc two stroke and 250cc–450cc four stroke, E3 for over 250cc two stroke and over 450cc four stroke bikes. Over 40, Over 50 & Electric will be open capacity.

Fast Eddy Racing 2022 Race Bikes

The team are running 3 different bikes for the 2022 season. All of the riders have opted to go with the 4-strokes with Jamie McCanney riding the light and agile 2022 Husqvarna FE 250, Tom Sagar will be on the 2022 Husqvarna FE 450 and Joe Wootton will be riding the high powered 2022 Husqvarna FE 501.
